Report: Telco giants Celcom, Digi to merge
Delay in Celcom
To recap, Axiata and Telenor have signed the transaction agreements for the proposed merger, referred to as MergeCo on June 21, 2021.
The combined scale of the two companies also puts them at a good position as telcos continue to negotiate the adoption of 5G services in the country.
