Bak kut teh Eating bak kut teh feels like getting a warm hug from your belly.
My advise to wanjo is ask your cook to go.
Then a mound of fluffy, soft rice deliciously cooked in rich and creamy coconut milk, some side dishes of crispy dried fish, savory meat, cool cucumber bits, crunchy peanuts, and that noteworthy sambal paste will greet you.
I love the sambal this stall offers as it is of the sweet variety as opposed to the plain hot versions served by some Malay Styled stalls.
While not as popular as the previous stalls, you should definitely give this hidden gem a try.
